Lauren Cresswell is an interior designer based in New England. Her approach is grounded in problem-solving, honesty to context, and a sense of humor. Her experience in high-end custom residential projects spans the US and her work has been featured in numerous publications.
With 7+ years of experience, she’s got a stack of hats - from conceptualization to project management and creative direction on full-scale renovation and new build residential projects, as well as several commercial/hospitality design scopes. She has a varied background that includes experience in the fields of urban design, policy, and visual arts.
After earning her MPA at The University of Texas at Austin, she worked for the historied firm of Black + Vernooy. There she engaged with the built environment through the lens of transportation policy and advocacy, working with community stakeholders on various human-scale urban design interventions.
After several years with B+V she decided to move closer to her native New York to continue pursuing her interests at the intersection of design and problem-solving.
